The Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) owns
and manages Coffee With A Conscience. WWBIC is committed to providing business
education and training to individuals seeking economic independence. The bakery
products you enjoy at our two locations are made by clients who have
participated in WWBIC's business training or loan programs. Coffee With a
Conscience is a revenue generating source for both WWBIC and clients with great
potential for growth.
Environmental
Conscience
Coffee With A Conscience is committed to
reducing waste and the reckless use of nonrenewable resources. We only use
environmentally sound cups, paper products, and even plastics that at least in a
small way help prolong the life of our landfills, so please recycle your java
jackets. All of our coffee is organic which protects farmers and the
environment from unsafe applications of fertilizers and pesticides. This
promotes sustainable agriculture for our future generations.
Global Conscience
Coffee With a Conscience is sensitive to human beings world wide. In purchasing
green coffees from around the world, our roaster has consistently recognized the
value of buying "fair trade" and certified organic, kosher coffees.
Fair trade is a concept connecting producers and consumers in more equitable,
meaningful and sustainable ways. Coffee With A Conscience believes every
individual should have an opportunity to control their own destiny.
