Clara grew up in LaCrosse and attended University of Colorado at Boulder. After a brief stint in Washington DC working in international economic development, she and her husband moved to Denver to start their family. In Denver she started her own Pilates business growing it from a handful of clients to two locations with 12 employees. In 2019 she heard the call of the Driftless Region and decided to move her family of five back home. Along with her new position as Outreach and Education specialist at WWBIC she is also the co-owner of NECAL Corporation in Sparta, Wisconsin and serves on a variety of nonprofit boards in the area, including the LaCrosse Community Foundation and the YMCA. She is excited to bring her business management and economic development experience to our region to help support small businesses and our local economy!
