Ten things you should know about Travel Wisconsin and things to consider if you are a tourism business in Wisconsin. Join David Spiegelberg, a Regional Tourism Specialist with the Wisconsin Department of Tourism as we explore the resources Travel Wisconsin has for your business.

David came to the Department in 1994 from the National Park Service where he coordinated international volunteer activities at Yosemite National Park during his college years. He started his tenure at Tourism managing a state travel information office and also coordinated the Department’s consumer trade show program.

He currently works as a liaison between the agency and the tourism and hospitality industry in eastern Wisconsin. David works with partners on tourism assessment projects, customer service training, marketing and promotion ideas, grants, and other projects related to increasing, improving and advancing tourism and hospitality in Wisconsin. David specializes in the area of bicycle tourism, skiing and snowboarding, golf, and coordinates most of the Department’s international marketing efforts.

When not at work, you’ll find David on his mountain bike, in his kayak, or somewhere in Wisconsin’s woods or state parks. He is proudly calls himself an “outdoor junkie”! David calls Lake Geneva home and is fortunate to have the entire east coast of Wisconsin as his work territory and playground.
