Strong Women, Strong Coffee encourages business professionals and entrepreneurs to build meaningful connections. Fueled by caffeine & passion, this morning networking event is for women who are focused on achieving something fresh and new for their business and themselves. Each event features a local strong woman and her story!

Alderwoman Chantia Lewis was elected to represent her neighbors as the Alderwoman in 2016. Then and now she works to earn the support of her constituents by being an active community member and crusader for the District – something that began when she was still just a homeowner and small business operator.

Alderwoman Lewis’ inclination to serve is nothing new. Alderwoman Lewis fought for this country as a member of the Air Force. After returning home and graduating from Alverno College, the she began work as a trainer for One Step at a Time.

Alderwoman Lewis has been on a personal crusade to protect the small business of District 9 that community members love. She tasks herself with the responsibility for inspiring and encouraging local restaurants. Alderwoman Lewis fights with the same fire to improve the whole City of Milwaukee. She is a member of seven city committees.

She is focusing on creating programs and legislation to take Milwaukee to the next level. Alderwoman Lewis uses her personal time researching and traveling in search of the best answers to Milwaukee’s problems. In her spare time, Alderwoman Lewis still finds time to spend with her children and husband. She is a minister at her church and is continuing her education by studying for a Master’s degree in Theology. Alderwoman Lewis’ love of service and bold vision are why she believes she and those she serves will take the Ninth District and the City to places it has never been before.
