KATHRYN DUNN

President/Chief Executive Officer

Kathryn Dunn provides leadership to WWBIC’s statewide economic development organization providing access to capital and business training to entrepreneurs throughout Wisconsin. Kathryn joined WWBIC in mid-2024 as Vice President of Program and Operations before being appointed President.  Prior to joining WWBIC Dunn served as the Chief Strategy Officer for the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and Vice President of Community Impact for 13 years and Community Investment Officer for the Helen Bader Foundation for more than 14 years. Dunn has a long career in philanthropy and nonprofit leadership work focused on expanding access to capital, supporting entrepreneurs – particularly under-resourced individuals, and promoting engagement and equity as key to lasting community-building.  Her career includes leading grantmaking strategies, program related investment programs and local, regional and national collaborative initiatives in economic development, mission investing and workforce development. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Masters of Business Administration, both from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

CHRISTINA KNUDSEN

Chief Operating Officer

Christina Knudsen has had the honor of serving on WWBIC’s executive leadership team since 2021 as Vice President, Development & Communications and most recently has been named Chief Operating Officer. Christina is responsible for overseeing the internal administrative and operational strategies necessary to achieve the goals and objectives of WWBIC – including direct oversight of marketing and communications, advancement and grant reporting/compliance, and business education programs. As COO, Christina manages business operations across various departments to include implementing policies and procedures that document and improve workflow, productivity, and organizational culture. She leads development and grant procurement efforts to ensure WWBIC’s long-term financial health and sustainability. Christina identifies and manages operational risks, ensuring compliance with federal and state program contracts, and related regulatory standards. Christina is a mission-driven strategic leader who has served in the nonprofit arena for over 25 years. She is skilled in Project Management, Special Events, Donor Relations, Grant Writing and Reporting, Solicitation, Philanthropy, Major Gifts, Public Relations, and Marketing. Christina holds a Master of Education in Professional Development from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.

DARCY PINASCO

Chief Credit Officer

Darcy Pinasco joined WWBIC in October of 2025 as the Chief Credit Officer and is responsible for leading business lending, loan operations and the small business consultant teams, ensuring WWBIC’s lending and portfolio management practices continue to meet high performance standards. Darcy Pinasco is a strategic leader and seasoned banking professional with more than 15 years of experience guiding teams, strengthening operations, and advancing inclusive business strategy within financial services. Known for clear communication, thoughtful leadership, and a collaborative approach, Darcy excels at aligning cross-functional partners to deliver strategic initiatives and improve client experiences. Darcy’s career spans leadership roles in business banking, branch management, partner strategy, and go-to-market planning. Darcy brings strong expertise in relationship management, strategic planning, performance analysis, and community engagement. Darcy is also recognized for their commitment to inclusion, having led national employee resource group initiatives and supported enterprise-wide diversity efforts. Darcy holds a Bachelor of Science, Leadership with a concentration of Interdisciplinary Studies at Trident University.

SHERRI HUFF

Interim Chief Financial Officer

Sherri Huff is supporting WWBIC as Interim Chief Financial Officer. On December 15, 2025, Sherri Huff, CPA, joined us as an interim CFO, serving at WWBIC through Lauber Partners, a regional firm specializing in the accounting and financial sectors. Sherri specializes in interim and project CFO services, forensic accounting and business consulting and has experience in multiple sectors in the private sector as well as in nonprofit and government agencies. Sherri oversees our accounting team, and is responsible for financial planning and reporting, financial risk assessment, budgeting and resource allocation and investor relations. We anticipate Sherri serving at WWBIC for the next six to eight months while WWBIC conducts a search for a permanent CFO.

KATE HILL

Chairperson

Managing Partner, Heartland Information Research

Kate Hill, a former WWBIC client recently joined WWBIC as a Board member over 9 years ago.  She founded and leads HIR, a Milwaukee-based research and management consulting firm.  Ms. Hill recently acquired a small manufacturing firm whose workforce is almost entirely Hmong and mostly residing in a challenged Milwaukee neighborhood.  To eliminate the risk of losing these 10 jobs to an out-of-state buyer, she and her husband decided to acquire the company and relocate the manufacturing facility to the area where the majority of the employees live.

JOHN STEWART

John Stewart, retired from Wells Fargo, has been involved with WWBIC for over 9 years as a member of the Board & Audit/Finance Committee. had divisional or regional management positions in a commercial banking organization where John’s 35 years of experience leading multiple work teams, managing the credit risks of large commercial banking portfolios, leading through change, acquiring and developing diverse talent, and championing complex credit worthy new business can be utilized to achieve organizational goals.

Mike McDonagh, shareholder in the Milwaukee law firm Mallery & Zimmerman, S.C. has been involved with WWBIC for over 30 years as a member of its Board and Loan Committee.  Mike represents business interests of profit and non-profit entities including corporations, professional service entities, limited liability companies, partnerships and proprietorships, which include manufacturers, medical practice groups, contractors, high-tech concerns, retailers, specialty service providers and distributors.

STEVE SALOUTOS

 

Credit Policy Committee Chair

Chief Financial Officer, ProSight Financial Association

Steve Saloutos serves as WWBIC’s Credit Policy Committee Chair and a former Board Chair. Saloutos is a senior business executive with extensive strategic and operating experience in financial services and banking and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of ProSight Financial Association, the recently merged financial services trade association formerly known as the Bank Administration Institute (BAI) and the Risk Management Association (RMA). He also serves on the Board of Directors of Amalgamated Bank. Steve comes from a long career at U.S. Bank, and served as the Consumer and Business Banking Group’s Midwest Region Executive leading over 400 branches and over 2,000 employees. He also previously headed the Group’s Strategic Support Services team and served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Consumer and Business Bank.
