WWBIC frequently hosts events to connect our clients to resource providers, successful entrepreneurs and other important networking opportunities. Cup of Joe sessions feature a live interview with a strong leader who has achieved success in their business, career or field. All are welcome – join us to connect with other entrepreneurs and get inspired!

Our featured speakers will be Kim & Nick Grabowsky, owners of The Tax Lady and Son in Menasha. Kim spent years working in tax and financial services for other people. She was good at the work, but she didn’t always agree with how clients were treated. She knew there was a better way to do it. One that put people first, communicated clearly, and didn’t leave clients feeling like just another file on a desk. When her remote position ended in 2023, she didn’t hesitate. She launched The Tax Lady & Son with a clear purpose: build the kind of practice she always believed clients deserved. What made the decision even easier was Nick. Watching her son take a genuine interest in the business gave Kim something to build toward together. What started as one person’s leap of faith became a family commitment. Since opening, they’ve earned their reputation the old-fashioned way — through good work, honest communication, and clients who come back year after year. Kim holds the Enrolled Agent designation and is an NTPI Fellow, two of the highest credentials in the tax profession. But what they’re most proud of is simpler than that: the reviews they get from clients who felt genuinely taken care of.

This session will be moderated by WWBIC President/CEO Kathryn Dunn.
