Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an authentic marketing channel that you can use to generate visibility, engagement and sales among the target audiences for your business…precisely when they’re looking for what you offer. You know your potential customers are using search engines every day, and if you aren’t using SEO to market to them in organic search results then you’re probably leaving money on the table. In this five-part series, you’ll learn how to get more ROI out of your website with SEO!
For the first installment in our series, we’ll review the principles of Technical SEO that ensure both search engines and human users will be happy with your content. By enhancing the Technical SEO of your website, you’ll build a solid foundation for all of your other SEO efforts. We’ll review some of the SEO pro’s and con’s of different website content management systems, demystify some SEO terminology, explore a handful of helpful tools, and reveal some of the technical “bonus signals” that help search engines better understand your website’s content. We’ll take time to explain all of the technical terms, though we recommend that attendees possess at least a beginner’s level of webmaster knowledge.
We’ll have plenty of time at the end of the session for Q&A, so feel free to bring technical questions about your site!
