Laura Strong is a strategic leader and investor with more than 25 years of experience across biotechnology, health technology, and equity investment. Founder and CEO of Valency Fund, dedicated to expanding capital solutions for early growth-stage companies in Wisconsin through innovative and sustainable financing strategies. Former leader at Quintessence Biosciences and Exact Sciences, with expertise spanning drug development, clinical trials, and evidence strategies. Has also served in strategic advisory roles for a range of early-stage health technology companies. Active advisor, board member, and advocate for Wisconsin’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, including mentoring founders through MERLIN and Creative Destruction Labs. Adjunct faculty member in UW–Madison’s Master’s in Biotechnology program.
