Molly Moran opened Table Wine (Madison, WI) in 2015 after years in restaurants and wine retail. She wanted a place for people to learn about wine and food and to gather with their loved ones over a glass of wine, so she created such a space in her beloved Atwood neighborhood. In recent years, Molly has been drawn to activism within the wine industry and focuses on winemakers who largely go unseen by the traditional wine industry. Molly believes that it’s important to set a good example for her nine-year-old daughter, Pippa, and other young people with an interest in setting their own course. Being an entrepreneur is an exciting and exhausting endeavor, and Molly relies on her husband of seventeen years, Conor, for a cup of tea and a good book at the end of the day to keep her life in check.
