Strong Women, Strong Coffee encourages business professionals and entrepreneurs to build meaningful connections. Fueled by caffeine & passion, this free online webinar will feature a live interview with a strong woman who has achieved success in business or entrepreneurship. The audience will hear her story of success and feel a connection with other strong women on their journeys, finding inspiration along the way.

Join us July 14 for Strong Women, Strong Coffee featuring Alexa Alfaro, Co-Founder of Meat on the Street.

Alexa Alfaro co-founded the company, Meat on the Street (MOTS), with her brother, Matthew. The company was founded on the philosophy “food is love”. They decided to embark on entrepreneurship by representing their culture through cuisine. In 2013, Alexa Alfaro dropped out of engineering school her senior year to pitch a Filipino food truck to her parents. Meat on the Street hit the streets of Milwaukee on June 26th, 2014.

Recently, the food truck partnered with Milwaukee Downtown for their #jumpstARTdowntown campaign. The partnership allowed the food truck to rebrand and be named after her father, Ray.

Alexa defines her ‘why’ as culture through cuisine with community, as food is the central part of the Filipino culture. She introduces her culture through cuisine and gives her customers the ability to enjoy moments through meals with their loved ones, after all, food is love!
