2022 Annual WWBIC Luncheon
Our 35th anniversary luncheon celebration, themed “Open for Business,” showcases decades of impact and connects our small business community to our many partners and supporters. The celebration is two-fold in nature, with a small business market followed by a luncheon and program.

WWBIC 35th Anniversary Reception at Wisconsin Governor’s Residence
Approximately 150 WWBIC funders, partners, clients and staff gathered on August 23rd at the Wisconsin governor’s mansion for working meetings and celebrating the 35 years of impact WWBIC has had in Wisconsin and beyond since 1987.

New WWBIC Impact Report
Beginning in 2019, WWBIC undertook a third-party study to better understand the financial footprint of our business borrowers. This research analyzed data over a decade to better understand the long-term impact of our work in the aggregate: How WWBIC is making a difference in the lives and communities of the people we serve.

New Video features WWBIC and Our Clients
WWBIC’s work is not solo – that is why we rely on all of our partners to help advance the important work of economic development. We are grateful for our recent partnership with The Kroger Co. Foundation and LISC (National and Regional), who teamed up with WWBIC to provide additional technical assistance to food-based business owners of color affected by the pandemic. Thanks to the generosity of Kroger and LISC, we are able to share a video featuring some stories of hope and opportunity directly from the clients to help “build it together.”
